She has also learned to play with toys and absolutely loves them. The only thing better than a toy - her foster chihuahua brother. They bring out the best in each other! Lizzie is very athletic. She is high energy and would do well in agility classes. She is also incredibly food motivated. The fastest way to build trust is a calm demeanor and a treat in your hand. Most importantly, Lizzie loves her people completely. She pushes herself against her humans to get as close as possible for snuggles. How do I act when I first meet new people? Shy, but once I warm up I love you in a BIG way! Other tips and tidbits: Typical chihuahua - sweet and affectionate and playful as a puppy once you earn her trust. But you have to earn it. It takes about a day. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
