About Hansel

Howdy! My name is Hansel, and I'm a fun, energetic, and outgoing red tabby with white DSH fella who was born in July 2018. Around the house they call me the Cannonball because i never stop playing! I love catnip mice, balls with bells, and wand toys as well as chasing the other foster felines around the house. Then when I'm all tuckered out, I cuddle with my sister Gretel. If I look sleepy in my photo, it's because it was the first day that I was rescued, and I'd gorged on so much food that I passed out. My foster meowmy found Gretel and me when she was out walking her dogs. Actually, we found her: when she walked by, we popped out of the bushes. So she called us, and we ran up to her like we were long-lost friends. She could see that we were very hungry and covered with fleas, so she was kind enough to take us home and get us all fixed up. I'm so glad that I kissed good-bye to the hardscrabble outdoor life of a stray kitten. I'm too young to be dumpster-diving for my next meal. I love it inside with plenty of groceries, water, and cozy places to take a nap. Not to mention all the toys, cat trees, and other kitties to play with. I would do great with well-behaved kids or dogs too! As much as I like it here in my foster home, I know it's best if I find a forever home of my own. Although we're available separately, Gretel and I would love to be adopted together. We could keep each other company when you're at work or on vacation. Plus, two is more fun than one! Hansel is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
