She is 3 years old, spayed, is Up To Date on Vaccines and on HW and Flea Prevention. SHE NEEDS SOMEONE WHO IS VERY CONFIDENT WITH WORKING DOGS! Although Maggie is very much a working type dog, her temperament is a little too unsteady to do well and be consistent in any sport unfortunately, she would do absolutely best with a firm, structured and active person, maybe a retired k9 handler looking for a fun dog to work at home. To adopt Maggie.....You must have strong working dog experience and be willing to continue working her daily, once she's adopted. Maggie is a Dominant female that NEEDS a strong handler that wont take any BS. She is a power house of a dog, has High Energy(does have an off switch), with a strong ball/toy/ prey drive. Also very food driven. She came into Rescue VERY reactive/aggressive to other dogs and people but has made excellent progress in that area. She will need strong structure, rules and boundaries with her new adopter to continue on her path of balanced training. She also requires a good amount of physical and mental stimulatuon, every day, to stay in a good place. If she knows your the boss, she is a blast to work as long as you keep her in her place! She has a beautiful Foose, Here, Sietz, Platz, Hup on her as of now and has started some more advanced Off Leash Training and Obedience. We use a shock collar from e collar technologies, to train with her and she does her absolute best when using that tool. ** Maggie was having seizures frequentlyso she does require to be on meds dailyto keep that in check. Her seizure med is $30/month and her CBD is $50 for 2 months worth. So you're looking at around $45/month treatment wise for Mag. This dog needs a special person who is a confident leader by nature, active, patient, exercises daily, good with boundaries, loving, adventurous and a boss! NO SMALL ANIMALS UNLESS you have extensive training experience!!! She currently lives and does very well with my 3 year old son, 6 and 8 year old daughters, 2 cats, 2 chickens and many different sized dogs that come into training and rescue. BUT we train begavioral dogs full time and we know how to have lots of animals together safely. **Adopter MUST agree to getting and using a shock collar if they want to adopt Ms. Maggie. We will show the adopter how to properly use the collar when they come in for training with Maggie. Adoption Fee: $275
