About Newton

Newton is a handsome and lovable 9 year old Puggle (pug beagle mix). He loves his toys, REALLY loves blankets, and car rides. He is aggressive towards other dogs he does not know, but has many dog friends that he has met multiple times. He currently lives with three other dogs and has no problems with them. Activities like the dog park however, are outside of his comfort zone. He is great with cats and young ones. Provided that he has the opportunity to meet other dogs, he is able to form good bonds with them over time and stops having the aggressive behavior. He loves all food - as such, he is food insecure. He is very good at finding unsecured food and snacks (like dog food and the trash), and relishes in sharing it with everyone, all over the house, if he finds some. I think Newton would have an ideal home by himself or with another small dog, and loves to cuddle and be close to you. The more time someone could spend with him the better. He is very good about not having accidents inside, and is trained to be on an 8 hour work schedule. He needs some special care, but you will get a loyal, loving, friend who will take on a black bear for you. :) P.S. - adoption fee will go towards new toys, blankets, and anything he may need in a new home.
