About Duke

Adoption Fee: $100
Lab mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Adoption Pending Meet Duke Duke is a three month old lab/terrier mix. With his beautiful brindle markings, Duke is a stunner. Duke, along with his three other siblings - Sawyer, Rudy and Redford - were owner surrendered on October 13 citing 'too many dogs.' We were lucky and happy to get Duke and his brothers into the safety and protection of our shelter. Duke is outgoing with his littermates, but a little shy and timid with people until you get to know him%BD'%BD|then he wants to crawl in your lap and snuggle for comfort. Duke hasn't yet experienced much of life and everything is new and somewhat scary for him. Shelter staff and volunteers continue to socialize him and show him the world is a big and wondrous place to explore. He's learning to walk on a leash so he can explore this new world. We're not sure how big Duke will be when he's fully grown. Duke's momma was on the smaller side. So if he's like his momma he may be on the smaller to medium side. Duke is current on age appropriate vaccinations. Duke would love nothing better than to be warm and safe in a home filled with lots of love. If you're looking for a puppy (or two, or three or four) to add to your family, check out our Duke and his brothers.
