About Sophie

Sophie is approx 9-10 month old 35-40# Border Collie mix originally found as a stray in NM. She never had a human care for her in her short little life but loves life and loves people and loves other dogs. Maybe a little too much. Sophie was returned for playing way too rough with the smaller dog in her home, so Sophie will need a bigger dog to rough house with or will need to be an only child. Sophie needs an experienced owner and a family who will include her in their activities like hiking and camping and will teach her fun things. Sophie is still a puppy and would love to go to puppy classes as well. She will be an awesome family member. Sophie is an energetic pup and isn't very suited to an apt lifestyle; Sophie needs a secure fenced in yard.
