About Gunner

Adoption Fee: $100
Boxer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Gunner Gunner is too good to be true! Gunner is a beautiful Boxer/hound mix with a lovely personality despite being neglected for all of his young life. We took Gunner in from Habersham Animal Control on October 27, 2018. We think Gunner is between six to eight months. It's a little hard to tell because Gunner is severely underweight right now. You see, Gunner had been adopted out in early October as a healthy and normal puppy. He was recently returned to the Habersham facility as a super skinny puppy, looking as if he hadn't eaten a meal since he left. He currently weighs only 35 pounds, which for a dog like Gunner, is too little. Once we learned of Gunner, we worked with Habersham to bring him into our shelter just as soon as we could. And boy, we're glad we did! He is a super sweet and affectionate boy. And, once we get a little meat on him he's going to be gorgeous. Gunner loves meeting people and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He has a beautiful soft brown coat, soulful brown eyes and crazy cute ears. His demeanor is calm and friendly. He seems to welcome other dogs and we've already seen he's cat friendly. Gunner is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and tested heartworm negative. We'll continue to get to know more about Gunner, but all indications are that he's a keeper. We now just need to find him the perfect forever family. Will that be you?
