Sunny is an amazing dog who was dumped in high-kill San Bernardino City Shelter several months back with advanced glaucoma in both eyes. She was only 18 months old, and had been suffering for many months with no treatment. When a dog goes through the cycle of glaucoma, it's like a never-ending migraine headache with no relief. The wonderful volunteers at the shelter reached out and asked us to help her. They did a fundraiser for her surgery, raised the funds in 2 days, so up to Oregon she came! After all she had been through, she still had a loving and fun personality! Months after having both eyes removed, she gets around the ranch as good as our sighted dogs, knows her way around the house, and is not limited at all by having no eyes. These animals are amazing! Sunny is now looking for a quiet family who will love her and care for her for the rest of her young life. She is very low maintenance, likes to be inside on her bed where her people are, but also likes little jaunts outside to smell the trees and grass. She knows to sit for her food/treats, is housebroken and her short coat makes her an easy girl to keep up. Will you be the home she deserves?
