I found Freddie (named after Freddie Mercury) wandering around a neighborhood off 1960 in Spring. There was a family who said they had been actively looking for his family for 4 weeks but were unsuccessful. Freddie had no problems coming to me when called. He rushed to my side and showed me nothing but love. I brought him back to my house for shelter until I could enroll him in a no kill rescue but unfortunately they were all full. Freddie was welcomed to my home by my 3 other fur babies and they became instant friends. To our surprise he was very good with commands and was already house broken. We have had him now for 5 successful days. He eats well ( no upset stomach with purina), stays hydrated, is leash trained, house broken and sleeping in his own bed peacefully during the night in our room. For a pit mix 9 month old he is very reserved. He LOVES to play but also loves to sleep. His rope is his best friend. This little big guy needs a good home to a loving family. I would keep him for myself if I had enough room in my home. I can't bare a lovebug like this living in the streets. He deserves the best! Please contact me if you are interested!
