Eli 8 Years Old Fostered in Sandy, OR Hello world - Eli here! I am a very lucky boy because until about a month ago I didn't even know there WAS a world out there! My first 8 years were spent in a very isolated situation so once I left that place, everyone and everything new that I saw or heard frightened me. I'm learning that new people sometimes bring me a treat, cars can take me on an adventure and noise isn't necessarily a bad thing. I get along great with my boxer siblings in my foster home and they've taught me about toys, playing, exploring and zoomies! I still have a lot to learn but I'm loving life. A word from foster mom - Eli is a handsome guy with such a gentle, loving spirit. He has made so much progress this month. He is still shy and cautious and looks to his people and his dog friends for reassurance but he has been getting out and meeting more people and doing well. Once he gets comfortable with new people - adults and kids, he does well. We are working on exposing him to lots of new things and building up his trust and confidence. He will do well with humans who are home most of the time and another dog to help him continue his education. He is ready to meet his forever family so if you are looking for a handsome guy who will make you his whole world and love you like you've never been loved before, Eli's your boxer boy! All he wants from you in return is patience, reassurance and lots and lots of love! Bit.ly/WHBRadopt
