Traffic stopping young male Akita. He is very curious and likes to explore and assess his surroundings. He may be aloof or even intimidating to strangers but once he decides you are his friend, he is a big affectionate and playful baby. He can be a little reactive to having his head touched due and doesn't enjoy being hugged so he would do best in a breed experienced, adult only home or possibly with older(14+) dog savvy children who understand when he needs his space. He knows how to sit politely for his treats and bowl and may know some other commands. We have not assessed him with other dogs yet but he was non-reactive to female dogs in the adjacent play areas and raised his hackles a little around the boys.
