About BlackJack

Blackjack is a large boy who is loyal protector of his family. He commands respect on the street while walking on leash, but at home, he is a big goofy baby and perfectly happy to roll over for belly rubs and sit on your lap! He is non-reactive to other dogs while out exploring with his owner on leash but cannot be allowed in off-leash environments such as dog parks due to his size. He is however a ladies man and gets along great with other fun-loving female dogs. He is patient with friendly submissive males but would not do well in an environment with another alpha male dog. Very treat-motivated, he easily learns new commands and LOVES being groomed and pampered. He must have an adult only home where he is not required to interact with children since he is not comfortable around them. He is a strikingly handsome boy who would do best with a breed-savvy owner.
