About Duke

Duke has been passed around a few times in his life. He is a red Doberman male, and we think he's about 5 years old. Duke was found roaming in the fall of 2017 after Hurricane Irma and never got reconnected with his original owner. The family that found him cared for him for a few months, then sent him to our rescue. Duke is a great dog, but he can be nervous or stressed if humans try to put their faces in his face. For this reason we won't adopt him to a home with children. Otherwise Duke is a great, great dog! He is house trained, loves people, and just wants to be with his family. He is a little too much for cats, so no cats please. He seems okay with other dogs.
