About Koda

Lab / Boxer
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Koda, Boxer mix, 2 yrs., 60-70 lbs., housebroken. Koda came to the shelter acting very protective and aggressive, the staff just kept working with him using treats and kindness and he has really come around and developed into a playful good dog. He may always be somewhat protective in his home because of his breed. Koda loves to go for walks, play with his toys. He knows the commands sit, lay down and shake. He is a bit hyper but easily trained. He hasn't been around many dogs but when he has, he wants to play with them. He lived with 2 cats, but they didn't like him, because he wanted to play and he's too big and a bit rough for them. Koda's owner surrendered him because they were moving and couldn't take him. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385 Koda has been diagnosed with a torn ACL which is a very expensive surgery. He's too young to live comfortably with this injury the rest of his life. We need to raise $2000 so that the Logan County Humane Society can have the surgery done. Homeward Bound Rescue is donating to the cause, but we need more help. You can send your donations to Logan County Humane Society, 2250 Leisure Lane, Sterling, CO 80751
