Hi there, friend! My name is Willow. You know, like the tree, but I'm sure as heck not weeping now that I'm getting a real shot at a forever home. That's right, I got bailed out of the local dog slammer just so I could make my way onto that fancy couch of yours. If you could open your heart to a sweet, wayward hound, I'd sure be grateful. I am proud to say that I am fully trained- house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. I play well with other dogs and I was even a companion dog for a very stressed out pup back at the shelter. I love kiddos and if you're looking for someone to teach your kids proper toy hoarding methods, look no further than me! I like to gather all of mine up and pile them on my bed for that extra comfy touch. Some families need a calm dog, some families want a playful dog, but some families are looking for the best of both worlds. That's me! I like to play, but I also love to curl up on the couch and practice my snoring. I'm not very vocal, but when I do decide to sing, I can promise you that you will be absolutely enchanted. I have a beautiful voice, my foster mom says so. Whose got two front paws and loves car rides? This girl! So if you want a buddy to croon along to some Elvis hits with, it's pretty much legally required for you to have a hound dog. The humans in charge can tell you what they need as far as the adoption goes, but if you want to seal the deal, you're going to have to come down to the Waynesboro Petsmart on Saturdays between 10 AM and 2 PM and demonstrate your best belly rubs on me. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. For more information and to apply to adopt, please visit www.augustadogadoptions.org If you google our address, you will be directed to Richmond. That is NOT our adoption event location. If you have questions, please message us on Facebook.
