A5202925 Olive is a charming 1-year-old black spayed female Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever puppy whose former owner left her at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on July 23rd for no known reason. Weighing 81 lbs, Olive is a happy, wiggly girl with a playful attitude. She loves to play with squeaky toys and chase balls. We think she would enjoy a forever home with plenty of things for her to play with and where she can join you on daily walks. Olive seems to have been someone's loved gal as she is quite chubby and needs to lose around 10 lbs to achieve a healthy weight. Olive doesn't seem to have had much training yet, but she loves treats (and for many dogs, healthy snacks like carrots or apples are great treats!). She listens well which makes us think she will learn quickly. Olive sailed through her shelter-administered temperament test. She likes other dogs, as long as they are not too pushy or rambunctious, so we think she'd do great with a calm dog in her new home or as a solo dog. Olive is ready to give you some serious love and major laughs and will be an awesome best friend to anyone seeking an active larger dog.
