About *URGENT* Kodiak

A1576956--Kodiak You could have many Kodak moments with KODIAK (#A1576956) in your life. I had to force myself to stop taking pictures of her. She is a 3-year-old, brindle beauty, with golden eyes, and an underbite that I find absolutely adorable. KODIAK arrived at the East Valley Animal Shelter as a 'microchipped' stray on October 8. She is not new to the system. In fact, had her family redeemed her, it would have been their fourth time doing so. It appears they had enough. But the question begs, how did she manage to escape so often, and why was she eager to leave? It took me a bit of time to gain KODIAK's trust. It was worth the wait. She walks well on leash, knows a couple of commands, takes treats gently. When she came to sit next to me on the bench, that was my Kodak moment of her. The shelter is at 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys, CA. Adopt/foster/rescue KODIAK. She is a keeper, but she'll need someone to keep her safely indoors so that she can't escape again.
