About Lola

Hello, I am reaching out on behalf of my dad. His home situation abruptly changed and is relocating from Texas to the Buckeye area to be closer to my sister. My dad is on state disability and only receives a fix income once a month. Unfortunately, while my dad stays with my sister he cannot keep his dog Lola and he cannot afford to put her in boarding and move into a new place. My dad is extremely sad that he has to give her up, she has been his best friend and companion! Lola is great with people and kids. It takes her some time to warm up to other dogs but is super great around them once she does! She is a 50 pound Pit bull, Boxer mix which is also why I am reaching out to you. We're afraid because of her breed it would be hard for her to be adopted from a shelter. My dad has had Lola for about 8 months now and was told she is micro-chipped and is up to date on her rabies vaccine. This is a very sad situation for all those involved and if we had the means to be able to keep her with my dad we would. Please contact me if anyone could take her in to be fostered and be given to a good and loving home! My dad is set to arrive in AZ tomorrow.
