About Birdie

This is Birdie. She was used for breeding until recently and then she came to join us where we discovered that she was blind. Upon her visit to the vet, we discovered that her years of untreated dry eye had left severe scarring and horrible lesions on her eyeballs. We made the immediate decision to remove them to relieve her discomfort. We feel that she has been vision impaired for quite some time prior to this from the amount of scarring and she gets around great! She loves everyone she meets and would make a great companion. All of our dogs are Spay/Neutered, up to date on vaccines, Heartworm tested and current on Flea/Heartworm preventative before leaving. We are asking for a $250 adoption donation to help with the expenses of the dogs in our care and the expenses of the animals we help in our community.
