About Genevieve

Hello. My name is Genevieve. You can call me Gen, Genny or Vivi. My foster mom calls me all sorts of cute stuff. I'm 17 weeks old. I've had a really hard time finding my forever home. You see, I have a pretty high grade heart murmur and chronic eye problems. I have had ulceration in my left eye since my foster mom found me. I'm on all sorts of medications for it and they definitely have helped me a lot. We're unsure about my heart, but two vets now have said that it's a pretty significant murmur. I may grow out of it, or I may just need help through my life. I'd prefer a quiet home with no children under 14. I'm a little shy, but I'm really calm and quiet when being held. I purr a LOT! I'm not very friendly with strangers because they're scary, but I love my foster mom and dad and I show it by licking their toes and climbing into their bed when I think they're asleep and won't notice (they always do!). I'm looking for some unconditional love and for someone committed to helping me through m issues. In return, you'll get one grateful kitty. Humans like to say that black cats are unlucky. But how could I be unlucky when I've found you?? You would make me the luckiest girl in the whole world. I may be 'just a black cat', but I have the cutest face there is! My foster mom says so! Im very unique! One of a kind! I'm pretty small and I'll likely stay smaller than average for the rest of my life so I need someone big and strong like you to protect me! I can't wait to meet you and the rest of my forever family!
