Hi. I'm Mulligan. I arrived from rural Kermit, TX in May 2018. I was found on an abandoned piece of property with my doggie girlfriend and babies. New Hope found homes for all of my When i first arrived I was very scared of everything around me and I did not even know what a leash was. Now I get excited when I see a leash as it means we are going on a walk. I am also crate trained and potty trained. I get along well with other dogs and I hope that my forever home would really have another doggy companion as it makes me feel more comfortable and I like to follow their lead. I would also do well in a home with cats as the one in my foster home has one and we get along pretty well. My forever family needs to understand and be willing to work with me and be patient as I learn that humans are not scary. Even though I let my foster pet me, new situations and people are very scary to me and I need lots of time to adjust. Kids over the age of 15 would be okay but younger kids make to many movements and noises that would scare me.
