About Colby Jack

Hello, we need to rehome our dog Colby. Not only is he anxious when we leave the house, he is protective of our house. He has bitten two teens now, and we can not allow him the chance to do more. The first bite happened when a teen was banging on our back door then rushed into the house thinking he was playing. Colby did not take kindly to the banging, and was all worked up by the time the teen ran into the house, Colby ran up and grabbed ahold of his arm. It was a minor bite. The second bite happened when another teen was in our backyard, and our son opened the door to take Colby out. My son did not know the neighbor teen was in the back yard until Colby bolted out the back door and bit the teen on the arm. This is the final straw, and Colby will do much better once he figures his place in your pack. We just hate to have to rehome him, but we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if something worse were to happen to another child in our neighborhood because of this dog. Please help us so Colby does not need to be put down. He is super smart, and is able to pick up commands with very little work. Currently he will sit, lay down, play dead, heel, come, 'get out of the kitchen', go get in bed. He will quickly pick up commands as you give them.
