About Anna

Anna is a shy girl and can take quite a while to warm up to a stranger. She does great here at the rescue with meeting people as she feels safe and comfortable here. She goes right up to volunteers to get attention. We have been told she prefers females more than males but we have not seen that here at the rescue. She loves being with other dogs, especially dachshunds, and will curl up with another dog for a nap. She enjoys a soft blanket to lay on. Once she knows and trusts you Anna enjoys being held and loved on. She is just so small and cute. Anna is not a barker. She will need an adopter that is willing to be patient with her. Anna is a 7 year old dachshund. She weighs about 8 pounds. Anna has been spayed and all her vaccinations are current. She tested negative for heartworm. She has been microchipped.
