Joey is truly a sweet dog. That said, I am going to start with her challenges. While loyal and loving towards those she knows, she is fearful and sometimes aggressive towards strangers. She is not good with children. The noise and unpredictable behavior of little kids is too much for her. Our toddler son is in love with her, but she is not a fan of his. It is clear his interaction is not wanted. Joey is not good on leash. She is used to spending hours outside in our backyard since walking on a leash was problematic. She is prone to barking. I think that about covers it. My family loves her tremendously, but it has become clear that she is not happy here. Our son chases her around all day and she looks uncomfortable all the time. We are expecting a second child in the coming months. I am worried that this new addition will be too much for all of us, especially Joey. I want her to fully enjoy her days in a relatively stress-free environment. If you decide to invite Joey into your life, you will be truly blessed with a beautiful and amazing companion.
