RESCUED(along with an older m, LabradorRtvr-rescued by another rescue) from a high-kill Animal Control in Laurens, SC when their owner went into a nursing home. dob: January 1, 2014...weighs 17lbs Miss Jenny is a COMPANION ANIMAL from morning til midnight. She is devoted and always seeks to please, friendly, gentle and genuinely sweet. Gets along great with all dog of all sexes, gender and age. Would do best with an active work-from-home person or early retired couple. With proper care, Ms Jenny will have another good 10yrs to share adventures with her people/person, so we will be seeking applicants who are currently no older than 65yo, & who do NOT live in an URBAN environment(suburb & rural=OK!). The more active you are, the better your chances will be of being approved to share UNconditional love and life's adventures with Ms Jenny. Walks well on-leash, crate-trained, housebroken, rides well in the car, loves to snuggle. This pup is in and will remain in foster care in Rutherfordton, NC until her fur-ever person/family is approved. Upon approval, transport is arranged, via HAPPY DOGS or LIFESAVERS RESCUED PET TRANSPORT SVCs, to points along the eastern seaboard(I-95)VA, DC, MD, DE, NJ(NJTnpk)Vince Lombardi svc plaza), Long Island, Rye & AlbanyNY, JohnstonRI, ManchesterNH, as well as AllentownPA and the I-81S corridor. Transport fee: $125 is to be paid by the adopter Upon request, we will be HAPPY to send you more pix and videos of this sweet girl, showing her demeanor and how she gets along with her people and the other sanctuary pals. Upon request, we will be happy to test her with cats. Because of her past life with an elderly person, we feel certain that she would prefer a quiet environment with no children living in the home. She has an 'old soul' who prefers an easy-going life, so we are here to help her find what we feel that she feels most comfortable with. She requires 3 1/2)1mi walks a day, and/or a safe and secure fenced-in back yard. However, dog parks may be a bit overwhelming for this little girl.
