About Weego

Weego was adopted from the Wetnose Animal Shelter around 8 years ago. Weego had clearly been abused, as she refused to leave her new bed for two weeks after we brought her home. It took a lot of effort, patience and time on our part, but a more loving dog you will not find. We are unfortunately unaware of how old Weegee currently is since she was adopted. We believe that Weego is a bit older, since she has become a bit slower. If we had to guess, we would say Weego must be around 11 years of age. Weego is incredibly gentle and loves being around ladies. She finds someone to imprint on and will refuse to leave your side. She is an incredible companion and friend, and is always happy to see people. She loves attention. Weego is amazing with our two year old, however our daughter has become a bit too exuberant for Weego in her older age. Weego would be perfectly placed with an older lady who is willing to disburse a lot of love. Weego is completely house-trained and obeys instructions. She does not bite, barks only when there is something to bark at, and is generally extremely well behaved (we have taught her to respond to clicking fingers). She has become a bit spoilt and must sleep indoors at night. She will not run out of a gate. We are absolutely devastated to have to look for a new home for our child, but we are emigrating and are mindful of the fact that Weego will not make the flight. She also will not sustain a shelter. We are doing what we believe to be best for Weego, and carting her across the world is not ideal for her age. If you have a lot of love to give, this dog will accept it gladly and you will never be lonely again. Weego is also chipped.
