Fabulous in fuchsia, kindhearted Kiwi is slowly acclimating herself to the sensation of safety. Still very puppyish at 22 pounds, this highly submissive sweetie loves chewing on bones, raw hides and greenies as if making up for lost time, and the more she trusts, the more comfortable she is with the adults and children in her foster home. Ever so snuggly, sleepy and calm, she enjoys naptime as much as being outdoors in the sun and exploring the backyard. Lulled by love, gentleness and kindness, she's pleasantly pliable when it comes to being fed, bathed and dried, and riding in the car, and is both crate and housetrained. She warms up slowly but surely to new people, does well off leash at the dog park, and is at work on her leash walking skills. Because she seems to follow the lead of other dogs -- learning by their example -- she would do best in a home with another gentle dog and loving adopters to boost her confidence, fully educate her, and help her reach her full paw-tential.
