Striking in his sweater, Rory, the sweetest and calmest of seniors, savors staying warm as much as he favors being loved. At a trim 10 pounds, this once emaciated and abandoned doggy is thriving in his foster home where he enjoys snuggling with his people, stretching out on his bed under blankets, and curling up in a sunny spot on the floor. He loves car rides and walks, getting excited when he sees the leash, and shows some interest in other (friendly) dogs he passes before moving on. Curious about the cats in his foster home but not confrontational, Rory responds to his name, is housetrained, understands 'stay', is learning to 'sit', and is small and easygoing enough for his foster mom to carry in her tote bag outdoors! While he's missing some teeth, his appetite is hearty, and he now hopes to eat, love and snuggle fur-ever in the warmest of loving homes.
