About Poseidon

I have tried for 6 months to find a place that is affordable and pet friendly. Time has ran out. Poseidon is a very loving a sweet boy once h warms up. He is very timid at first partially due to having very little sight left. He gets along with other small dogs, not large dogs. Doesn't do well with small children or high active quick moving children. When picking him up he prefers to be held close and slowly picked up or put down. To fast and he will become frightened and thrash about. New people who try to reach for him, he has been known to lay down and thrash on the floor to avoid being picked up. Honestly he looks as though he is having a seizure but has no record of seizures. He will stop as soon as the person stops reaching for him. He still likes to play fetch. Loves walks and walks next to you. Very very talkative, sings along with you, barks or growls when he wants out to go potty, or wants attention. uses puppy pads and outdoors. His birthdate is 10/15/2009. He was born with cataracts on his eyes which overtime has resulted in loss of vision. He will chase cats, has never harmed any though. Hasn't been around men much. Has a huge personality, still enjoys chasing his tail like a puppy. He is due on his vaccinations. Other than going blind he has no other health issues.
