About Ulani

Ulani 6.5 Years Old Fostered in Long Beach, WA Hi everyone, it's me, Ulani! I just want to say thanks for helping me out and getting me on the road to a new life. I am learning a lot! I spent the first week hiding in my crate, but I am figuring out that not all noises have to be scary. Now I can hang out on my nice dog bed and watch these people do their people stuff. New things still make me nervous but I am working on it and getting braver all the time. I love spending time outside where we work on recall and I am getting better, but need to keep practicing to perfect it. I am also working on my leash skills and I'm picking it up pretty quick. Hopefully this means more walks! Foster mom Lucy here, Ulani is really making progress and is such a loving girl. She's starting to come out of her shell and showing signs of playfulness. This beauty is a true sweetheart. She loves our kittens, is good with our dog Grace and has been the picture of patience with every dog she has met. She has attended a few events where she was petted by children and was very calm and gentle. This girl is timid and will need patience, consistency and lots of love in order to blossom.
