About Bert

Bert is a special needs boy, who will soak up affection like a sponge. He loves people, but is shy of other animals, so a home with no other pets would be most comfortable for him. Bert was pulled from a shelter a year ago and was in congestive heart failure due to heartworm disease. He is now heartworm negative, but he does require daily medications to help his heart function more efficiently. Bert may be special needs, but you wouldn't know it by his attitude. He is a strong, exuberant boy, and a loving home with no children or seniors would be ideal. Bert is only about 6 years old, vaccinated, crate trained, and microchipped. He is house trained, but he can occasionally leak when he gets excited. Bert is being fostered near Oklahoma City, OK. For more information please email us.
