About HUANG-HUANG-China Save

HUANG-HUANG was saved from the legal meat trade in China in the Beijing area. She, her 10 siblings and mother were saved by a wonderful rescue lady in China and together we are working on getting them all to the safety of GaDaH-CHINA in Sebec, Maine. We pay to get these dogs vetted, tested, quarantined and all other requirements to import them to the safety of the rescue in Sebec, Maine. The adoption fee's vary slightly depending on the weight and size of the dogs. HUANG-HUANG adoption fee is US $1,200 and covers the costs we incur to save this precious souls. HUANG-HUANG has been through the export and import quarantine requirements from China to the US. She has her rabies, core vaccines/lepto, heartworm, tick-disease and screw worm tested negative. She has been de-wormed, micro chipped and received any necessary monthly preventatives. She has an estimated date of birth of 2 January 2018 and she weighs around 24.5 pounds. Her mother we believe is a Belgian Shepherd and so she is most likely a Belgian Shepherd Dog Mix, we have no idea what breed the father is. It is up to you to look at her and decide what breed you think she could be She arrived in the United States on 23rd August 2018, landing at JFK and then was driven up to the rescue in Sebec, Maine. We are looking for families with knowledge of experience of working breed needs to ensure they get a good balance of mental and physical exercise. Huang-Huang is a super friendly, loving and affectionate girl. She was the first to gain trust and show her affection by jumping all over me and nibbling my ears, nose and licking my face. She is fantastic with the other dogs, if not maybe a little bit too excitable at times. She plays wonderful with the small pups, once they understand that she is just playing and doesn't want to hurt them when she goes bounding over to where they are. She will climb up and sit on your knee even if you have another dog on your knee, she is happy to share. She is a real, happy-go-lucky girl, with so much fun an energy it is impossible to watch this girl and not have your heart smile. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS OR LIVESTOCK AT THE RESCUE SO ARE UNABLE TO COMMENT ON HOW SHE WILL ACT NEAR OR AROUND THEM. She does use the dog door to get in and out and does go outside to do her business. I do not know if she would let you know she needs to go out since she has 24/7 access to the outside, but she is extremely smart and do not think it would take long to learn, so a few initial accidents in her new home whilst she adjusts and gets used to her new routine and has her family teach her to let them know she wants to go outside should be expected. Until arriving at GaDaH, she had never been an inside dog. She would benefit from a family who understands the importance of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. As with all rescue's she needs guidance and training and we recommend families go through at least the basics of training with her themselves so that boundaries, personalities and body language can be learned from each other. She rides good in the car, but has only been with her siblings, never has she been alone. She gets on good with other dogs and would benefit from the companionship in her transition, so a family with another dog would be great, however, if that is not the case, then play-dates with other dogs would be extremely beneficial for her. She needs an active family and one that will keep her mind stimulated and challenged. Lots of hikes and adventures, training tricks, or agility, dock diving or other fun, active, stimulating activities would be perfect for this girl when her confidence and trust has been gained. Zs mentioned she is friendly and loving, and although I have not seen her with children, given time and space her demeanor and personality I have no doubt that she would be great with them and I am sure they could keep each other entertained for many hours.�'��Throughout all that this beautiful soul has been through, she has not once shown any kind of aggression.
