About Ivy

Not a day goes by that we don't witness the cruelty of humans, and we're always astounded by our dogs who manage to rise above their beginnings. Icy is a 1 year old, 51 lb Retriever mix who is in SC, and her foster says she is a perfect little girl. She is all set to come up north, but she needs a FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEXT SATURDAY, 10/27. When she was dropped at the shelter (along with her equally pretty sister Iris), Ivy had a terrible open wound on her forehead. It's healing up nicely, and she will be back to runway shape in no time! She is a very gentle and submissive girl who will belly crawl right up to you for some snuggles. Other dogs are her friends, and we think she'd do well with some kids of her own.��%BD%A0 She is looking for a loving home where she will be gently showered with love and TLC.
