About Maxwell

***Sorry, we cannot adopt outside the Southern California area***Meet Maxwell! Maxwell is a handsome American Shorthair. He has a striking orange tabby coat. He is about 8 years old. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and has had regular, annual dental cleanings. Maxwell is friendly and pretty active. He has grown up with a 25 lb poodle and they play a lot together. He is fine around cats as well as long as they are nice to him. He is Garfield in real life and cuddles on his own terms. He does not like to be locked in rooms or go in boxes. He loves to be out by family. He doesn't really like to be held or carried but will cuddle when he wants. He is super friendly and sweet and LOVES to be pet. He also loves Food! He was rescued from a feral station as about a six-month-old kitten. He had possibly been abused. His tail is on the shorter side like it had possibly been broken or bitten off by another animal. This boy has been well loved and well taken care of. It is unfortunate, but he is looking for his new forever home.
