About Sophie

Meet Sophie. This little girl is a chihuahua mix, 14 lbs, and about 7 years old. She was an owner surrender and has been a bit shy and scared. Each day she makes progress coming out of her shell. Sophie is deaf but has started to respond to hand signals. She would do best in a home that is patient, calm, and familiar with the behavior of a nervous small breed dog. Sophie would also do best as an only dog or with a senior dog. She really is a sweetheart! Enjoys sitting with her human and getting love. Total lap dog!! We'd love to see her in a forever home where she will flourish and never fear abandonment again.
