About Milano

Hi, my name is Milano and I'm a sweet, spunky bundle of promise to always make you smile! My previous owners loved me very much but as I've aged I've become less tolerant of being 'bothered' and in a moment of irritability I bit my human sister in the face. Even though it was a difficult decision, they surrendered me to Sophia's Grace Foundation to help me find the perfect forever home. My foster family has two cats...sometimes I like to pretend they are invisible, other times I like to bark at them and chase them a little but I'm a really good listener and when my foster mom tells me to 'stop it', I come running so she can tell me I'm a good boy! There are 5 other dogs here and I get along with them fine but I really like to be the center of attention and I have no problem pushing them out of the way so that I can get all the scratchies. Speaking of scratchies....I LOVE having my butt scratched just above my tail. It makes me SO happy that I can't help but break out in my wiggly-butt happy dance. It's really quite adorable, if I do say so myself. I love to burrow under a blanket when I sleep, whether it's in bed with you or in my crate but I don't like to be disturbed under there while i'm sleeping....if you try to wake me up by touching the blanket or trying to take it off me, I get cranky and will growl and possibly snip at your hand. If you call my name and tell me to 'come on' though, I'll wake up happy to see you, with my tail wagging, ready for whatever! I'm almost 10 but age is just a number and I'm extremely energetic. My adorable antics will provide you with hours of entertainment. I don't really play with the other dogs here but I like to play with the humans. I have excellent manners inside and out too. I'm fully housebroken and I always come when called. My 10th birthday is coming up in a few months, I was born February 14, 2009....will you please make me your forever Valentine?
