About Chevy

Our sweet boxer is awesome! Our children are away at college now and because of work schedules, he is left alone more than we are comfortable with and hate to leave him outside for long periods, especially now that winter is drawing near. He is a fun loving dog that LOVES to catch the Frisbee or ball. He does well with kids of all ages. He does well with other dogs as long as you aren't playing together. The ideal situation would be a family with kids who would love him and make him a part of the family. A place where he wouldn't have to be outside for hours on end. We have never kenneled him because it produces a great deal of anxiety for him. He does great left indoors for up to 4-6 hours, he doesn't chew on things and he doesn't get on furniture. We want to make sure that he goes to a good home, where he'll be loved and well taken care of. This is super heartbreaking but we know that it is what best in our current work situations.
