About Bruno

Bruno is a 2.5 year old boxer that is looking for a new home. He was placed into board and train due to fear issues that manifested itself as aggression. Bruno has bitten two people, however, since being in training he has gained confidence and with a patient but firm handler he should not have problems in the future. Bruno has learned to walk on a loose leash, heel, sit, down, stay and come on a 6 ft leash (basic obedience). I have taken him out in public around people several times without issue, however, he still has a lot of confidence building to do. He's very sweet once he realizes you aren't going to hurt him, and he loves to snuggle. Bruno will not be placed in a home with children due to his bite history. He is unknown with cats, but he seems to get along with most dogs with a slow, proper introduction. He would do best with a low key dog that is not dominant or overly active/hyper. After putting Bruno into our board and train program, Bruno's owners decided that he was not the right dog for their household and that they would not be able to handle him properly. If he does not find a home quickly, he will be going to the shelter as his owners cannot continue to pay for boarding for long.
