About Bronco

Adoption Fee: $250
American Bulldog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Bronco was born January 25, 2017. He is a full bred American Bulldog, have papers to register him with National Kennel Club, both parents are NKC registered. He is due for vaccinations on 10/24/18. He is submissive to humans but very animal dominant with Cats and is somewhat dominant with dogs outside of his home and very dominant with other dogs within his home. His activity level is excited when first coming in but is normal once greeted and given love. He knows how to sit and shake. He loves ice cubes, deer antlers and car rides. We tried numerous dog foods his first year and he found one he has no tummy issues with and enjoys; Blue Buffalo. He eats in the morning and evening. He knows not to get on furniture inside and is doing pretty good about not jumping on guests but sometimes needs a reminder to 'sit bronco'. He's doing much better on walks; he does wear a harness when going on them due to his strength. He is house trained and kennel trained, he stays in the kennel when we're not home and at night to sleep. We adore this boy and are huge animal lovers but Bronco is not growing out of his desire to get our two indoor cats, he has done ok with our 11 year old male border collie but did become aggressive towards him the other day. Our son came home from college with his male husky and Bronco was fine until Conan entered the house and then became aggressive. He's been boarded twice when we have been out of town and the vet said he did fine with the other large breed dogs during play time but was the dominant dog in the room. Due to his dominance with other animals in our home and on our farm it's in the best interest of our other animals safety and best interest of Bronco that he be rehomed somewhere with no other animals. We have two teens still at home and Bronco adores them. We have grandkids who visit, he has never shown any sort of aggression with them but does get super excited when they visit, it would be my personal opinion with his breed strength that he is best suited for 10 years and older.
