About Atlas

He was found running near the Carroll County/ Tippecanoe / White County line with a female pit mix and was never claimed. Both were wearing harnesses and we were sure their people would come for them, but unfortunately that was not the case. Atlas is a young, (age 1) male pit mix. He is very friendly, fun, and seems to get along with just about anyone. We imagine he would do well with most dogs he meets, but not all. He would likely chase cats. We also feel Atlas would do fine with kids who understand to be gentle. Atlas is gentle with treats, keeps his kennel clean and seems to be crate trained and house trained. Atlas is very medium sized and weighs about 45 pounds. We are waiving adoption fees on several dogs at the kennel to help get them into homes and in a less stressful environment. Atlas is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
