About Ariel

Our strong brave ARIEL ���S This little sweetheart came into a large municipal shelter as part of a cockfighting bust. This young little lady lived amongst chickens outdoors for most of her life, her job to protect the chickens. Looks like she had some babies in that time too. After some time at the shelter they reached out to us asking for help due to her extreme stress level in a shelter environment. Timing is everything and we feel so grateful we could help her and get her into the best foster home! Ariel made a fairly easy adjustment to life in a real home and is friendly with all! She does suffer from some understandable separation anxiety and would love a family who is home a lot with her. Sadly soon after her rescue we discovered some serious orthopedic issues. Ariel has since had knee and cruciate surgery and is continuing her recovery. What she needs now is a home where she can rest and feel safe and make a full recovery.
