Meet Jessica! She is a sweetheart who has had a rough go of it in life so far, but is ready to put the past behind her and move on to bigger and better things. She is looking for someone who is patient and willing to go on this journey with her. Jessica was found as a stray and had been shot in the neck/shoulder area. She was brave and had a strong will to live. Unfortunately her injury did permanent damage and her front left leg had to be amputated. She's now safe and in good hands with her new foster family. She is healing nicely and slowly recovering from the PTSD brought on by the abuse she endured. Her foster mom says she loves to play, loves to cuddle and give kisses, she is a couch potato who will cuddle for hours! She is improving all the time and while she does offer growls to other dogs in the home occasionally, this is easily corrected with separating her and time alone in her crate. We are confident that once she settles in and learns to trust again, she will be a perfectly well adjusted pup and will make a great addition to any family looking for a little love.
