About Lacey

Hi, everybody! My name is Lacey and I am a three-year-old pointer/hound mix. My foster parents see some greyhound in me--maybe it is the way I sprint in the yard or lean quietly on them when we are inside. Maybe it is my quiet dignity and gentle, calm style around the house and on our neighborhood walks. And they always smile when they see me curled into a ball on a sofa or dog bed--I must remind them of some of the greyhounds they have loved. My foster Mom says I could be the poster child for doggy beds. And guess what--I overheard them say that they are so proud that I am calmer when we see squirrels!! I am house trained, have all my vaccinations, am spayed, and have a microchip. I give hugs to the people I meet and they smile when they see my tail wagging--sometimes like a furry propeller. I get along with the other dogs in my foster family and with new canine friends at meet and greet events.
