About Twain

UPDATE!!! Twain is attending basic obedience classes at the rescue and is doing an amazing job!! Twain was the victim of 15 dobermans seized for neglect. This beautiful boy was a little complicated when first arriving at HADR with his brother-in-arms, Sawyer. Twain will do well in a home with a human female pack leader. He is still not trusting of most men, especially men wearing hats. We suspect that he was mishandled by guys wearing hats and doesn't trust guys. Twain is a handsome cropped and docked boy. He has adjusted well to new experiences and a new lifestyle. He looks for direction and is learning the basics, like walking well on a leash...unless he sees a cat! He is up-to-date on vaccines and is crate and house trained. He is ready for more dog classes and experiences. Twain loves treats and is eager to please - that makes training a breeze. He already knows that sitting in his 'beg' position will melt your heart and get him treats! He is ready for new challenges and can't wait to show off his new skills! He will enjoy your camaraderie and will strive to make you proud! Twain will take a special commitment, but will show you lots of love and affection for rescuing him!
