I had been running the streets and found myself on a sweet lady's front porch. She loved me and I was good to her (and her dogs) until someone could come to save me. My foster mom was there that afternoon and the rest is history! The vet actually thinks I am a full German Shepherd that was dumped for not being perfect breeding material. They have also said I am pretty young (I mouth like a puppy), but definitely over 1 since I have all my teeth. I am about 55 pounds. I have behaved well at my foster family's house. They have a lot of kids (age 3 and up) and 2 dogs and I am very friendly. My foster family has begun with simple training commands and they say I am doing fantastic! I have a lot of energy, but I have done very well in their crate and I do love to take walks- I just need some more practice on good leash behavior (not pulling). I sleep all night and have learned to be in the crate during the day when need be. I can't wait to find a family that will love me and works to train me. I am ready to be a loyal family dog. And I don't want to brag, but my foster family says I am gorgeous.
