About Roscoe

Adoption Fee: $50
Beagle mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

'Roscoe' (we gave him this name to be able connect with him, get him to listen and get his attention when needed)and his partner in crime, 'Chica' (the name we gave her for the same reasons), came to us when somebody dumped them out with a bowl and blanket at our house. They are very bonded and I think that it would be best for them both if they were adopted together, but if they just can't, then I pray that they each get adopted into a wonderful and very loving forever home, very quickly). They are 2 of the absolute sweetest dogs I have ever met. They are kind, loving, attention starved, gentle, great temperments, and if we didn't already have 4 dogs of our own, we would definitely keep them. They show so much love and have been so easy to fall in love with. Roscoe seems to be a Beagle mix (mixed with Pitt maybe? Don't know just going on looks), He also seems to be still very young. We are guessing 1 yearish. Maybe 18 months but we do not think he is any older. Still has very puppy actions. We do not know if he is potty trained, as we have not had him in our house because of our dogs. He seems to get along with all of our dogs (2 male English Mastiffs, 1 male Great Dane, and 1 female English Mastiff), at least thru the fence. They get nose to nose and seem to be smiling and saying hi with tails wagging. He is absolutely NOT aggressive at all, but still is doing that 'puppy' mouthing / play biting. It does NOT hurt at all and he is pretty gentle when he is doing it, however we have been working on breaking him of it. You can definitely tell that he has not had a lot of positive interaction or positive correction. Very gentle hearted and submissive, so care needs to be taken when correcting because he wants to melt down or cower if you get on to him for something. Just an all around fantastic dog and fantastic personality. He has stolen our hearts. He does seem to have been an inside dog. I firmly believe that ALL dogs should be inside dogs tho. It's cruel to keep them outside in the scorching heat, the, freezing cold, the rain, etc.. They just are NOT a part of the family when they are tied outside. Oh yeah.... he is NOT garden friendly. I have given up on my garden while they are here. Frustrating but then again our dogs are NOT garden friendly either, but they are fenced so they can't get to it - hahaha. PLEASE somebody give Roscoe and his partner Chica the life they deserve.
