3/2/19 - Update from Blake's foster mom: Blake is a wonderful little dog, and a great companion. He's an apartment sized dog, with a big dog attitude! He's a real people lover. He enjoys long walks, car rides, napping in the sun and treats. His favorite place to be is anywhere you are; preferably on your lap. He is crate trained, and very disciplined in his need to relieve himself. He's super friendly with people, good with other dogs once he's given a chance to get to know them, but not so good with cats. He had a physical and teeth cleaning recently and is in good health. He is ready for his forever home and will be your new best friend! Blake is a 6 year old male Chihuahua. He weighs about 8 pounds. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
