About Peanut

Peanut is a 3 years old female, Hairless Chinese Crested, about 12 pounds. She loves everyone, including big dogs, little dogs, cats and people of all sizes and shapes. She is playful with her housemates, loves her soft toys, small tennis balls and big bones. When she runs she looks like My Little Pony. She plays much like a kitten, and is athletic for her small size. She is crate trained, sleeping in her kennel every night for as many as 8 hours. She is puppy pad trained and does a good job outside too, but needs someone to remind her that it is time to go out. She sits for treats and understands 'off' and 'leave it'. Peanut needs a warm lap and a warm sweater in the winter! Adoption contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. All adoptable dogs are spayed or neutered at 6 months of age or older, and always before being placed in their new homes. APPLICATIONS CAN BE OBTAINED BY EMAIL ONLY. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
