Tigger was an owner surrender to our rescue from a family in New Jersey who could no longer care for him. Once Tigger was in rescue, we realized he actually hadn't been cared for in a long time. Tigger had no vet history and had teeth that were badly decayed. Tigger had an ear infection and allergies. After spending a month at our rescue, Tigger is now on the mend. Gone are the infections in his ear and allergies. He has had a full dental, removing all his teeth (none left). Tigger will be able to eat now and not be in discomfort. Tigger is now up to date on vaccinations. He should eat soft food to help him eat. Tigger should go to a home where he can be the quiet little lapdog he needs to be. Although he is only 7-8 his body tells an older age because he went neglected for so long. Tigger should be in a home with adults and minimal noise so he can live out his years in a calm environment. Tigger lived in a house with 2 other dogs and a 5 year old child previously. He was crate and housetrained in his home and would stay in his crate when they worked. Tigger is not a barker and wants to sit on your lap and sleep in his or your bed.
