About Mickey

We adopted Mickey off this site three years ago, along with another cattle dog, (after the recent passing of our 15 yo cattle dog), but two dogs of high energy has proven to be a handful for us. Mickey is chipped, flea/tick medicated and well-groomed. He's super small (around 25 pounds) and he will not grow any more. He has been to obedience training, can sit and stay on command, is fully crate-trained and got along very well with our other cattle dog. When he's on leash, he seems aggressive toward other dogs but he ignores dogs at dog parks. He needs much exercise (we bike with him 2 miles every other day) and enjoys love and attention. He's a cuddler and loves to bury his face in your arms or lap. He likes to believe he's a lap dog but our household doesn't allow pets on furniture. We believe he's part rat terrier just from the large rounded ears and small stature, but he's definitely a looker. We get lots of attention when we're out. The adoption fee is just to pay for the shots and physical exam 9/2018. I think I initially paid $300 for him, as well as his first shots and vet visit.
